Level 1:

Pepper!

Pepper is a pro when it comes to getting beginner swimmers over initial hesitation and welcoming them into the world of swim lessons. We're so excited to have her as our Level 1 private lesson instructor this summer!

Hello, everyone! I am a mom of two kids-a boy of 12 and a girl of 6. I have been with the BAC for nearly 3 years. Both of my children are graduates of Infant Swim Rescue.

Since my eldest was scared to swim until he was 7, l am passionate about ensuring toddlers and young children are comfortable playing in water.

As a family we enjoy anything outdoors, including camping, fishing, and hiking.

Our family of pets include 2 dogs, Grace and Magpie, 1 tortoise, Frank, 1 hamster, Chewy, a betta fish, Penguin, and 2 snails, Hit and Gold. Of all the pets, only the fish and snails appreciate swimming.

Level 2:

Alexis!

When it's time for your little one to start bridging the gap between floating and building a swim, it's time to book some private lessons with Alexis! She has been a swim mom for years as her kiddos have gone through the Bitterroot Swim team, and now she's hopping in the water as our Level 2 private lesson instructor this summer!

I started teaching swim lessons because I realized I am pretty good with little people: I am the technology teacher at Daly Elementary, and I believe that everyone should know how to swim.

What I discovered is that I actually love helping people learn how to swim. Watching people become comfortable in the water and develop confidence in their abilities is incredibly rewarding. I cannot think of a better way to spend my time.

Just keep swimming!

Level 3/4:

Katelyn!

Katelyn is coming to the BAC as our new Swim Camp and Splash Ball coach, and she's ready to incorporate her years of coaching experience to help your swimmer learn to develop their stroke technique and build endurance with Level 3/4 private lessons!

Katelyn, with extensive aquatic experience in swimming and water polo, has joined Bitterroot Aquatic Center as the Splashball and Swim Camp coach.

She has coached junior Olympic water polo teams and swim lessons for 15 years, excelling in teaching water polo at all levels.

Katelyn is passionate about competition and looks forward to helping swimmers and water polo players develop new skills this summer at the BAC!

Sam!

Lessons for All Abilities:

Sam has been at the BAC for almost 20 years, and when it comes to troubleshooting your swim goals, she's got it down!

From beginner swimmers to adaptive lessons, adults looking to overcome a fear of the water, and those looking to perfect their stroke technique, Sam is ready to help you achieve your goals!
